Winter Raffle 2020

• The Stoelen Project is the most accessible evening and night care in Amsterdam.
• The reception is strict, but safe, warm and free.
• Every evening and night homeless people stay in their shelter on the Marnixstraat.

Current project we can help support with 100% of the Winter Raffle donations:
They would like to arrange for dental care for their visitors. The dental problems are huge and it is where health starts. So they are trying to get the money together to be able to help visitors. They are in contact with a dentist who can do the work well and for a fair price. So of all donations they get in, this is the most urgent help they can offer at the moment. They also used to have an emergency jar of money for people with medical problems that they would like to restart again. There is the Kruispost where people can go for 5 euro, but they can not give much more than advice and some medications.

• Nicolaas Adriaans Stichting (NAS) is a non-profit and has many social projects all over the city of Rotterdam.
• With their day and night centres they provide shelter, a cafe and showers for (young) adults and undocumented immigrants for a maximum of 18 months.
• They also facilitate daytime activities. These vary from art projects to outdoorsy sportactivites and a study or work-trajectory.
•  In addition NAS supports young adults with finding a replacement shelter or permanent living space.
•  On behalf of the municipality of Rotterdam, NAS is also responsible for organizing the largest (winter) shelter in Rotterdam in the Maassilo, where about 130 people can sleep, shower and eat.

• The Smulhuis is the meal facility for homeless people in Utrecht, where they also provide shelter for the homeless.
•  A team of 120 enthusiastic volunteers provides a healthy, varied and affordable meal in a pleasant and atmosphere every day.
• The minimum age for guests is 18 years old.

• Provide an extensive meal and surprise guests with a Christmas feeling such as a Christmas package with necessities like toiletries.
